Scott Trust Charitable Fund
The Newsroom, which was set up by the Scott Trust, is an archive and visitor centre based near the London offices of the Guardian. It preserves and promotes the histories and values of the Guardian, the Observer and Guardian Unlimited by collecting, recording, researching and making accessible material that relates to all aspects of the history of the company.
The Newsroom incorporates an exhibition space, an education department, separate archival storage vaults for paper and for photographs, a public study centre, a lecture theatre and a cafe.
It runs a popular programme of free education workshops, as well as one-off educational events and a rolling programme of exhibitions.
